Measles epidemic in Romania Posted or Updated on 11 Dec 2023

We have been alerted by UKHSA that Romania have declared a measles epidemic. You can avoid measles by receiving two doses of MMR, at any age either through your GP or through community catch up clinics. Please visit the MMR vaccine resources link to access leaflets and posters, including in Romanian. You may wish to use these resources to encourage MMR uptake in your communities, ahead travel to Romania during the festive period. Please do get in touch should you have any questions.
