HOW DO I.... OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
Our dispensary has five qualified dispensers, including a dispensary manager who is available for any enquiries you may have. Repeat prescriptions may be requested online, by post, by telephone or by you or your representative calling personally at the dispensary. If telephoning for a repeat prescription, ring the dispensary on 01376 501297 between 9.00am - 1.00pm. Otherwise E-mail fernhouse.scripts@nhs.net
Please note we need two working days' notice to provide repeat prescriptions and, where necessary, you should arrange to see your doctor in good time for authorisation of prescriptions. Our dispensary is closed between 1.00 and 2.00pm
Our dispensers are able to issue medicines for those of our patients who live over one mile from a pharmacy, ie Wickham Bishops, Terling, White Notley and Rivenhall. Also, we operate a delivery service designed for those who are housebound and unable to collect their medication from us in Witham. If you have any questions regarding this service, please feel free to enquire at the dispensary.
